Wyatt Names Six New Partners and a New Senior Associate
The partners of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP have approved the election of Max Bridges, Allison Buckley, Joe Stennis, Julie Watts, Jordan White and Sean Williamson as partners in the firm. Additionally, Tom Travis has been named a senior associate.
Franklin Jelsma, the Firm’s Managing Partner, said “We are pleased to announce that these seven individuals have been promoted in the firm. They are all excellent lawyers who have distinguished themselves with exemplary work on complex matters making this an easy decision. Furthering the firm’s tradition of service, they are also active in professional and civic organizations.”
Mr. Bridges is a Registered Patent Attorney and member of Wyatt’s Intellectual Property Protection & Litigation and Natural Resources and Energy Service Teams. He focuses his practice on patent prosecution and enforcement, evaluating the patentability of inventions, patent litigation, providing legal opinions, client counseling, and transaction support and in the areas of state and federal environmental laws involving air, water, and waste. Mr. Bridges earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky. He is admitted to practice law in Kentucky, and is based in the Firm’s Louisville office.
Ms. Buckley is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Lending Service Team. She concentrates her practice in real estate, construction and immigration law. Allison earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky. She is admitted to practice law in Kentucky, and is based in the Wyatt’s Lexington office.
Mr. Stennis is a member of Wyatt’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Service Team, and the primary focus of his practice is employment law, where he defends employers against discrimination claims, wrongful termination, wage & hour (state and federal), ADA discrimination, ERISA litigation and claims of discrimination pursuant to Title VII. Joe has also been successful in drafting and enforcing employee executed arbitration agreements in state and federal court actions. He earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville. He is admitted to practice law in Kentucky and Wisconsin, and is based in the Firm’s Louisville office.
Ms. Watts is a member of the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Labor & Employment and Intellectual Property Protection & Litigation Service Teams. She concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial disputes, trademark and copyright transactions and litigation work, healthcare litigation and employment matters. She earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Kentucky and is based in Wyatt’s Louisville office.
Mr. White is a member of the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Labor & Employment Service Teams. He focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, creditors’ rights litigation, products liability law and labor and employment issues. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Louisville. He is admitted to practice law in Kentucky and Indiana, and is based in Wyatt’s Louisville office.
Mr. Williamson is a member of the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Service Team. He represents a broad range of clients in a variety of complex commercial disputes, including products liability and warranty matters, fiduciary litigation and class actions. In addition, Sean works closely with the Firm’s Intellectual Property Protection & Litigation Service Team, assisting businesses and innovators with the protection of valuable, competitive information, such as trade secrets and non-competition issues. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Sean is admitted to practice law in Kentucky, and he is based in the Firm’s Louisville office.
Mr. Travis is a member of the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Service Team. He assists with the representation of a broad range of clients in a variety of cases, including appellate practice, constitutional law, commercial litigation and transactional matters. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Kentucky. Tom is admitted to practice law in Kentucky, and he is based in Wyatt’s Lexington office.
