Wyatt Names Partners to New Leadership Roles
Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP is pleased to announce that Donald J. Kelly has been elected as Chair of the Firm’s Executive Committee; Mark J. Farmer has been elected as a member of the Executive Committee; and Carole D. Christian has been named Partner in Charge of Wyatt’s Louisville office. Franklin K. Jelsma was reelected as Managing Partner of the Firm.
Mr. Kelly, who previously served as the Partner in Charge of Wyatt’s Louisville office, is a member of the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution team where he concentrates his practice in the areas of complex commercial disputes and toxic tort and related environmental litigation. He earned a B.S.M.E. from Purdue University and his J.D. from the University of Louisville, cum laude.
As a member of Wyatt’s Corporate and Securities team, Mr. Farmer concentrates his practice in general business law, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital/private equity investments. Mr. Farmer earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville School of Law, magna cum laude.
In addition to her new role, Ms. Christian will maintain her full time health care practice, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Firm’s Health Care team. Ms. Christian represents health care clients in business transactions, certificate of need and license proceedings, Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement disputes, physician contracting, regulatory compliance and general business litigation. Ms. Christian received her J.D., magna cum laude, Valedictorian, from the University of Louisville.
Mr. Jelsma, who has served as the Firm’s Managing Partner since 2014, is a member of Wyatt’s Corporate & Securities team. He concentrates his practice in the areas of general business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and venture capital transactions. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky.
