A large Medicaid provider approached Wyatt for guidance and legal representation in pursuit of local zoning approvals that would allow for the client to construct its new headquarters campus that would also serve as a holistic lifestyle and healthcare campus on property that posed numerous challenges to development.
The client faced a litany of development and environmental approvals in a condensed timeline, including the approval of a combination of various land uses, approval of the closure and rerouting of public rights-of-way, approval of utility relocations, and approval of a tax increment financing package to help fund construction of the campus.
Wyatt’s legal team helped coordinate with and worked alongside a team of professionals — architectural, environmental, civil engineering, structural engineering, financial, to name a few — to tackle an assortment of issues standing in the way of the client achieving its vision for the property and, equally important to the client, position the property to be a catalyst of positive change for the surrounding area and the community.
Working together with a highly motivated team pursuing a creative plan within a demanding timeline, all approvals were secured, clearing the way for the client to turn its imaginative and transformative plan into reality.
