Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP is pleased to announce that Michael N. Fine has been selected to the Leadership Louisville Center’s Bingham Fellows Class of 2017. The Bingham Fellows program is the leadership-in-action arm of the Leadership Louisville Center. For 25 years, the program has provided experienced leaders with the opportunity to develop solutions for our community's most pressing problems. The Bingham Fellows Class of 2017 will focus its efforts on “Winning the Talent of the Future.” The class will work to advance Louisville’s ability to develop, retain and attract the talent needed for the city to compete and thrive. Mike Fine and his family moved to Louisville in 2015 from Washington, D.C., so he offers a unique perspective to the class as it relates to talent attraction.
Mr. Fine is a member of the Firm’s Health Care Service Team. His practice spans the full range of nonprofit and tax-exempt organization legal issues, advising public charities, private foundations, boards, and donors. Mr. Fine is a Vice Chair of the Tax & Finance Practice Group of the American Health Lawyers Association as well as a member of the Great Lakes Area TE/GE Council. He is a 2016 Healthcare Fellow of the Health Enterprises Network, a member of the Kentucky Secretary of State’s Non-Profit Task Force, and a graduate of Focus Louisville. Prior to joining Wyatt, Mr. Fine served as co-chair of the Tax Exemption Affinity Group at McDermott Will & Emery, LLP. He is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, the District of Columbia, Illinois and Pennsylvania. Mike earned his undergraduate degree, universal cum honore, from Washington University in St. Louis, and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Journal of International Economic Law.
