Wyatt Welcomes Erik C. Lattig to its Real Estate Team

Wyatt is excited to announce the addition of Erik C. Lattig as a new Partner in the firm’s commercial real estate practice in our Louisville office. Erik joins Wyatt following six years with another regional law firm and 12 years in-house with BP Americas/Thorntons, LLC and Texas Roadhouse, where he held positions as Director of Real Estate Legal Affairs and Senior Counsel – Corporate Transactions & Real Estate.

“We’re thrilled to have Erik join our real estate team at Wyatt,” said Emily Cowles, leader of the firm’s Real Estate & Lending Service Team. “Erik’s extensive experience and client-side perspective are unique and valuable.”

Erik said “I’m looking forward to joining Wyatt’s real estate practice.  They are currently serving as lead real estate counsel on some of the largest real estate projects in the Commonwealth, projects receiving front page coverage, as well as projects in nearly every state in the country.  It’s a great platform for growing my practice.”

Erik’s practice focuses on real estate, development, sale-leaseback arrangements, tax incentives, and, among other areas, the development of EV charging stations. He has been actively involved with the Greater Louisville Regional Land Development Task Force, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Association of Corporate Counsel, Kentucky Chapter.

Erik earned his B.S. from George Mason University, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.
