Thoroughbred horse stables
Situation
Thoroughbred horse stables train thoroughbred horses to race. The yearlings arrive in September each year and require additional labor.
Challenge
Our stable clients need additional temporary workers to care for the valuable thoroughbred horses until they are trained and sold or returned to their owners in the spring.
Approach
Each year we assist several stables to bring in more than 125 workers from Mexico, Jamaica and a smattering of other countries to work from October to June.
Result
The workers come in on the H-2B temporary worker visa for nine months each year and then return to their home country for the summer.
