Allison L. Brown focuses her practice in the areas of health care litigation, employment matters and commercial disputes and has experience with Open Records and Open Meetings issues. Ms. Brown was selected for the “Forty Under 40” award from Louisville Business First in 2017 and has been recognized by her peers as a Kentucky Super Lawyers® Rising Star each year since 2013. She participated in Leadership Louisville Center’s Ignite Louisville program in Spring 2016, is a member of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2018, serves of the Board of Directors for Kids Cancer Alliance and is President of the Louisville Landsharks Multisport Club. Ms. Brown earned her law degree with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law.
Benjamin Straus concentrates his practice on commercial lending transactions and the sale, acquisition, leasing and development of commercial property. Mr. Straus has been the Louisville Bar Association Real Estate Section Chair and Kentucky Bar Association Community Service Chair, and has been part of the Legal Aid Society’s Justice For All Campaign and the Louisville Bar Association’s CARE (Credit Abuse Resistance Education) program. He serves on the Planning Committee for the Kentucky Commercial Real Estate Conference and serves as the General Counsel for the City of Glenview. Mr. Straus earned his law degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
Carole Douglas Christian is Chair of the Firm’s Health Care Service Team. She focuses her practice in the areas of Health Care and related litigation and counsels clients extensively on new and emerging issues in health care regulation, including licensing, certificate of need, privacy and fraud and abuse. Ms. Christian has been named one of Woodward/White’s Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Health Care Law and Administrative/Regulatory Law every year since 1995. She is a past president of the Kentucky Academy of Hospital Attorneys, a founding director of the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association’s Kentuckiana Metro Chapter. Ms. Christian earned her law degree with high honors from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
