Gregory Haynes Awarded the Judge Benjamin F. Shobe Civility & Professionalism Award

Wyatt is pleased to announce that Gregory Haynes was recognized by the Louisville Bar Association last month at its annual awards luncheon. Mr. Haynes was awarded the Judge Benjamin F. Shobe Civility and Professionalism Award for his involvement in both the legal profession and the community at large.

With over 40 years of experience as a commercial litigator Gregory Haynes has received numerous awards for his practice, including recognition by Kentucky Super Lawyers as #1 Lawyer in Kentucky and Woodard/White’s The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Bet-the-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Banking & Finance Litigation and Securities Litigation, and the 2018 outstanding non-alum of the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. Mr. Haynes was appointed in 2018 by Governor Bevin to Kentucky’s Public Advocacy Commission for a five-year term. Mr. Haynes’ commitment to the community is reflected in his roles as Adjunct Professor of Trial Practice at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Opera. He also previously served as the President of the Louisville Bar Association, Director of the Louisville Metro Parks Board and Chairman of the Housing Authority of Louisville. Mr. Haynes received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky.
