Amanda Warford Edge is a member of the Firm's Labor and Employment Service Team. She maintains an active litigation practice, assisting clients with employment discrimination claims, contract disputes and collective bargaining agreement arbitrations. She also routinely assists with the representation of clients at the appellate court level in both state and federal courts.  She is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Indiana.

Representative Matters

  • Obtained dismissal of negligence claims, employment discrimination and/or retaliation cases, and wrongful discharge cases for county board of education.
  • Libertarian National Committee, Inc. v. Holiday.  No. 14-63-GFVT.  2014 WL 511583 (E.D. Ky.):  Part of a team that successfully defended a public broadcaster from a motion for preliminary injunction brought by a U.S. Senate candidate demanding an appearance on a televised forum.
  • Assisted in representing an institution of higher education in Open Records and Open Meetings actions before the Jefferson Circuit Court and the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
  • Assisted in advising Kentucky and Indiana boards of education in myriad matters, including compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Assisted in representing clients with non-compete agreement issues and violations.
  • Part of a team that obtained a favorable judgment for our client in the Western District of Kentucky involving potentially several million dollars of past and future royalties.
  • Part of a team that assisted a quick service restaurant chain in reaching a prompt and favorable resolution of litigation in which several million dollars were claimed.
  • Through a partnership with Legal Aid Society, successfully represented victims of domestic violence/abuse in their attempts to obtain domestic violence orders.
