Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP is pleased to welcome Sherry P. Porter to its highly regarded Employee Benefits team. Ms. Porter is the former Associate Dean of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. She concentrates her law practice in the areas of employee benefits, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans, and executive compensation arrangements. She also has extensive experience in handling and negotiating benefits issues in corporate and transactional matters. Ms. Porter began her legal career as an investigator for the U.S. Department of Labor Employee Benefits Security Administration, where she conducted investigations to ensure compliance with ERISA and related laws and negotiated compliance agreements to correct violations. She later returned to private practice, where she became a partner and leader of the Employee Benefits practice at Goldberg & Simpson. Ms. Porter is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and Ohio. She earned her law degree from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and her B.A. from the University of Kentucky.
