Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP has named Lee A. Harkavy and Mark Vorder-Bruegge, Jr. to the law firm’s Executive Committee.
Mr. Harkavy concentrates his practice in general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and real estate transactions. He has been recognized by Woodward/White’s The Best Lawyers in America®. Mr. Harkavy earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Harkavy serves on the Executive Council of the Business Section of the Tennessee Bar Association. He is the immediate past chairman of the Memphis Jewish Federation and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federations of North America.
Mr. Vorder-Bruegge is a member of Wyatt’s Intellectual Property client service team and serves as the firm’s partner-in-charge of Firm Technology and its Deputy General Counsel. He concentrates his practice in client counseling, resolution, and trial of complex problems of intellectual property, corporate governance, accounting and securities fraud, professional liability, and other business disputes. Mr. Vorder-Bruegge has been recognized in Woodward/White’s The Best Lawyers in America® and Mid-South Super Lawyers. He earned his undergraduate degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and his law degree from Vanderbilt University. He has been involved in various civic and professional organizations, including Ronald McDonald House, the Tennessee Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, and several industry groups which set standards for use of technology in litigation.
