Greg Haynes, member of the Firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Service Team, was featured in the Louisville Bar Association's June 2016 issue of Bar Briefs. The article, "What Does Trial Practice Education Look Like Today?" draws on the experience and advice of three adjunct professors at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, regarding their thoughts on litigation and trial practice education.
Mr. Haynes asserts that "The days of poster board blow-ups and jury handouts are over," in explaining how technology has changed the way evidence is presented in court. He concludes that experience is the greatest teacher for a trial lawyer, and advises prospective lawyers to take advantage of litigation skills classes in college and law school.
