Douglas L. McSwain has joined the Lexington office of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP as a Partner.
He is a member of the Firm's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Service Team. He received a B.A. cum laude in 1979 from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. with distinction from The University of Kentucky College of Law in 1983.
Mr. McSwain has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2009 in the areas of Employment Law - Individuals; Employment Law - Management; Health Care Law; Litigation - Labor & Employment; and Litigation - Municipal. He has been named a Kentucky Super Lawyer since 2007 in the fields of Civil Rights/First Amendment, Employment & Labor and Health Care.
Mr. McSwain has constitutional law, business, professional and trade law, and health care, administrative and equine law experience. He has served the Kentucky Bar Association in a variety of posts and is a frequent speaker on constitutional and federal court issues and on health care issues. He is a Life Member of the Sixth Circuit Judicial Conference.
