Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP is pleased to announce that the Salolampi Foundation has named Crystal M. Patterson as a Regional Director.
Founded in 1979, the Salolampi Foundation is committed to sustaining the Finnish language and culture through scholarships and program support at the Salolampi Finnish Language Village. The Salolampi Finnish Language Village is located on Turtle River Lake, north of Bemidji, Minnesota. Programs are held at the village throughout the year, teaching all ages about Finland, the Finnish language and culture.
All eight of Ms. Patterson’s great-grandparents immigrated to the United States and settled in northern Minnesota. Being entirely of Finnish descent and growing up in a predominantly Finnish community, she is committed to ensuring the culture and language of her heritage is preserved. Ms. Patterson is a member of the Firm’s Trusts, Estates & Personal Planning Service Team and the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Service Team. She serves as Counsel to Wyatt, advising individuals and entities involved in fiduciary and complex business litigation disputes, including will and trust contests, business break-ups, and ERISA litigation. She is also employed as General Counsel of Gulfstream Commercial Services, LLC and MidAmerica Jet, Inc. and their affiliated entities. Active in numerous other non-profit organizations serving the community, Ms. Patterson is Co-President of the Maximilian Montessori Academy parent-teacher organization in Owensboro, Director and Secretary to the Board of Directors of the RiverPark Center in Owensboro, member of the Board of Directors for the Green River Area Community Foundation, a Disaster Services Human Resources Volunteer for the American Red Cross, and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She earned her law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from North Dakota State University.
