According to Business First, “Forty Under 40 is a select group of up-and-comers who are on the leading edge in their occupations and share their time and talents in community service”. More than 480 people were nominated for this honor and 248 were considered after submitting the needed information. Award winners are selected by a panel of judges from the Louisville area business community who have “demonstrated that they are and will play a vital role in the development of Greater Louisville.”
Ms. DeJaco is a Partner in the Firm’s Louisville office. Her diverse litigation practice includes extensive experience with intellectual property litigation. Rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, her litigation skills have been called “exceptional.” She has also been listed in Woodward/White’s Best Lawyers in America since 2010 for intellectual property. Ms. DeJaco received her undergraduate degree from Furman University, summa cum laude, and her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. She has been very active in the community. She is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of Volunteers of America KY, and in the past she has served on the boards of the Friends of the Library, the Junior League of Louisville, and the Americana Community Center.
