Sheraton New Orleans

New Orleans, LA 70130
Wyatt's Chris Melton will present at the American Health Lawyers Association Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute. He will present "Prying Eyes: How to Prepare for RACs and Claims of Coding Fraud" on Wednesday February 5, 2014 and Thursday February 6, 2014 in New Orleans, LA.
Formerly two separate programs, the AHLA Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute is a single 2 ½ day program and includes an expanded number of breakout sessions. In-depth breakout sessions at the Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute focus on legal challenges faced by physicians and their counsel, the legal challenges faced by hospitals and health systems and their counsel, and the legal issues of interest to both segments of the health care delivery system. Chris Melton has been asked by the AHLA to lead a breakout session that deals primarily with recent trends by the government to achieve recovery of federal and state funds from healthcare providers, specifically through RAC programs and the False Claims Act.
