Robert J. Brown is Chair of the Firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Service Team. He concentrates his practice in the areas of business bankruptcy and commercial litigation.

Representative Matters

Mr. Brown has represented many large commercial lenders in connection with the restructuring of debt, workouts and DIP loans, particularly in regard to manufacturing, housing, equine and mineral extraction businesses. He frequently advises clients on the sale and acquisition of distressed businesses, especially in the context of Section 363 sales.

Representative Litigation

Mr. Brown has wide experience in bankruptcy litigation involving agricultural, equine and mineral issues. He has prosecuted and defended dozens of preferences cases in courts across the country.
